FairyLoot Buddy Reads (with Kristin)

I feel a little out of practice when it comes to writing blog posts these days, as it's been some time since I've actually had the time to sit down and create some content for this little ol' corner of the internet. But I've recently decided that it was high time to make a return to my original space for expressing my thoughts on the internet. And so, hopefully, you are going to see more content in this space for the rest of 2023! I've got some posts about 2022 that I'd still like to catch up on despite their belated nature.

For today, however, I'm keeping things simple by sharing a casual TBR that my friend Kristin & I will be tackling for the rest of the 2023. We both realized recently that we have a lot of FairyLoot editions from our active subscriptions with the company, so in a bid to whittle away at our rather large TBR piles and to get to these books before their special edition sequels are put up for sale, we decided we wanted to read some of these titles together.

1. Belladonna by Adalyn Grace - Signa must ally with Death in order to uncover a murderer and keep the rest of her latest guardian family alive.
2. One Dark Window by Rachel Gillig - Elspeth is on a quest to cure the kingdom of the dark magic infecting it while also dealing with the monster in her head.
3. Emily Wilde's Encyclopedia of Faeries by Heather Fawcett - Emily journeys to a small town to study faerie folklore and discovers a mystery.
4. Violet Made of Thorns by Gina Chen - A morally gray witch and a cursed prince must deal with a prophecy that entwines their destinies.
5. This Vicious Grace by Emily Thiede - Alessa hires a bodyguard for protection when rebellion is incited and her life is threatened.
6. Heart of the Sun Warrior by Sue Lynn Tan - The follow-up to Daughter of the Moon Goddess, where Xinyin has to battle a new threat to the realm.

Also, can we take a minute to appreciate the beauty of these covers and these lovely sprayed edges?
FairyLoot does an incredible job with their special editions.
