October started off with a bang! We kicked off the month with two days at Walt Disney World, followed directly by a few days at New York Comic Con (where I got to meet David Tennant for the first time, and saw Matt Smith and Alex Kingston both a second time), a visit to the Harry Potter: A History of Magic exhibit. There was also another D&D day with our friends Andrew & Kristin, saw Laini Taylor at Books of Wonder, saw Sarah J. Maas at Symphony Space, and plenty of delicious food all around. It's been a good month, October, and I'm sad to see it go!
I had a really good reading month! I finished a total of 16 books and 2 novellas, and I loved most of it. It helps that I spent a week binge reading all of the books in the Throne of Glass series, for sure, because I love that series so, so much. The books in the series (The Assassin's Blade, Throne of Glass, Crown of Midnight, Heir of Fire, Queen of Shadows, Empire of Storms, Tower of Dawn and Kingdom of Ash) are obviously my favorite reads for the month, along with a special mention - Night of Cake and Puppets!
