I know it's been over a week since April started, which means that this March recap is going up a little later than I planned. I have no real excuse for the tardiness, save to say that I've been enjoying my (very) relaxed online presence over the last month, and I've also been a very busy bee. But it's finally coming your way today!
WHAT I DID
Honestly, March is a blurry mess of good people, good memories and good music, and I wouldn't have had it any other way. I got my hands on a vinyl copy of Ed Sheeran's new album, and I'm obsessed with it to the point where I listen to it at least once every single day. I celebrated my best friend Pat's birthday twice. I got to watch Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale, and it was awesome. I watched Beauty and the Beast and it was also awesome. I also got the chance to meet Misty Copeland, and got to see a friend of mine perform in Ragtime. I reorganized my apartment in preparation for my parents' visit, only to have them reorganize it all over again (after multiple trips to IKEA, of course). My parents came to visit, and we got to hang out a lot doing all sorts of New York type things - including hanging out at Brookfield Place, and watching Waitress a second time - and we even drove up to Cape Cod and Boston for a weekend. All in all, it was a crazy busy, crazy awesome month, and I wouldn't change a thing about it!
WHAT I READ
I didn't do a lot of reading last month, so I ended March having only read five books in total. I've fallen behind on a few of my personal challenges, so I'm hoping to make up for it this month. Of the books I read, here are my favorites:
WHAT I POSTED
Reviews | Memoirs of an Asha, Cartwheeling in Thunderstorms, Tale As Old As Time, Written in Red, Solve the Case, From: Me / To: You, Tell Me What You Want, What You Really, Really Want, Sorcery and Cecelia
Features, Tours and Tags | Before I Fall: 3 Reasons I Want to See the Film, A Court of Thorns and Roses Series Reread, Table for Two #3, {Bookish} Style Files: Strange the Dreamer, FOF Book Club: Patricia A. McKillip, A Court of Thorns and Roses Wrap-Up
I'm still making steady progress towards attaining my set numerical goal for the Flights of Fantasy Reading Challenge! I read two fantasy novels - Spindle Fire and Written in Red. What have you read? Don't forget to link up to your recaps and reviews for your fantasy reading below! (And you can still sign up to be a part of the challenge!)
