2017 Love-A-Thon: Day One

I'm so excited that today is the day the Love-a-Thon officially kicks off for 2017! To be completely frank, hosting the Love-a-Thon has always been one of my favorite things in the whole entire world. I love celebrating the community I've been a part of (for nearly six years now, if you can believe it), and I enjoy getting to know even more people who share my passion for books. (P.S. If you're only discovering this event today, please know that you're still welcome to sign up to be a part of it!)

The Love-a-Thon is an annual event that has been running since 2012, and it's continued to grow in the five years since then. It's meant to encourage positivity, form and strengthen relationships and to just be a whole lot of fun. This year, I'll be co-hosting the event with Cee of The Novel Hermit, Kristin of Super Space Chick & Mel of The Daily Prophecy! I'm really excited to share all of our hard work with you, and am excited to have our event once again be a multi-platform affair. 

I wanted to take a minute to express my gratitude to my lovely co-hosts, every single person who donated a prize and to all of you for signing up to take part in this. The Love-a-Thon would not be what it is without all of this support, and I'm truly thankful.


Before you start visiting the participant's social media accounts, I wanted to take a moment to remind you guys of what there is to look forward to today. Here's a basic overview of the challenges and chats on the schedule for today:

3PM EST: Mini-Challenge #3: Book Spine Poetry (hosted by yours truly)
8PM EST: Mini-Challenge #4: Sweethearts Candy Messages (hosted by Cee of The Novel Hermit)
9-10PM EST: Twitter Chat #2 (hosted by Kristin of Super Space Chick)



It's traditional for us to share a full list of participants for the Love-a-Thon when we kick things off! Please see a list of everyone who signed up as of February 18, 12:00 AM EST.
