Time is just flying by, isn't it? Today is the very last day of May, and tomorrow is the first of June, and I certainly feel like this year has been the fastest the time has ever flown by for me. I'm not complaining, however, because this past month has been a lot of fun!
WHAT I DID
The first week of May was spent in Rome and Barcelona with my family & Macky. (I particularly enjoyed Rome in spite of the fact that there were so many shenanigans in that city.) Since we'd been so active while we were in Europe, I spent a couple of weekends just relaxing with Macky, or hanging out with friends, and just kept a really relaxed schedule. We rang out the end of the month by attending a wedding - Kristin & Andrew's wedding, to be exact, and it was absolutely lovely.
WHAT I READ
May was a pretty great reading month! I managed to read my usual amount of books, and I also caught up a bit on my review copies (which I'm really happy about). I'm hoping to keep up the steady pace so I can make my way through my currently checked out library books, and a bunch of my review books as well. I managed to read a total of 16 books, 3 graphic novels and 1 novella, and I'm sharing my top five reads below.

Hello lovely friends! How has your fantasy reading been going so far this year? Mine has been pretty damn spectacular. So spectacular, in fact, that I actually have managed to hit my goal of 40 books already! (I actually hit it in April, if we're being precise, but I ended up not realizing this until after the fact.) Anyway, in May, I read seven fantasy novels and one novella in total: A Court of Mist and Fury, Warrior Witch, This Savage Song, Ivory and Bone, Stormdancer, Kinslayer, Endsinger and Father Mine. What about you guys?
