Tunes & Tales: Grease Live!

I was seeking suggestions from Rachel for this month's edition, and she came up with the brilliant idea of featuring the soundtrack for Grease Live! We both watched the show on the night it aired on FOX, and were just completely blown away by the camera work, and the casting (particularly for the Pink Ladies + Sandy). We definitely enjoyed the production a whole lot, and the cast recording is pretty damn phenomenal! If you haven't given it a listen, heck, if you haven't seen the show, you should definitely set aside some time to experience it for yourself.

VIBE: Songs to dance to x songs to belt = classic movie musical soundtrack

WHY: It's such a fun listen, and you'll be hard-pressed not to shimmy along for some of these tunes.

TRY: I really love Hopelessly Devoted to You and There Are Worse Things I Could Do for some powerhouse female singing, but You're the One That I Want is my favorite!
