My first introduction to Adele was via my cousin Clarissa, who was obsessed with the album 19. Back when I lived with her family, we would listen to 19 on a lot of our car rides together. I really loved the unique tone of her voice, and her songs were a welcome addition to my playlist. Flash forward years later to when I'm a devoted fan (I loved 21 so damn much), and Adele releases her new album 25. I'm obsessed with it. She's still got that same charm and perspective and honesty as her first two studio albums, but 25 is special. It's an album chock full of songs that emotionally resonate with the listener, and I love it so!

VIBE: Nostalgia and melancholy and joy all in rhythmic ballads

WHY: Adele is a queen. (Also, her lyrics game is on point.)

TRY: I was obsessed with Remedy from the first time I heard it. But I also love Water Under the Bridge!
