I'm really enjoying this new spin on {Bookish} Style Files! Though I don't think I've got it in me to start an actual style blog to chronicle my outfits, I do love being able to share my personal looks with you guys every so often. Plus, it's a fun challenge to find the book covers to pair with them!
The Outfit:
When I went to the ballet with Rachel last weekend, I knew I wanted to wear a dress. I saw this teal and white one hanging up in my closet, still unworn, and decided it was time to take it out for a spin. I kept the rest of my look minimal in black, so the dress color really popped - and I love the way it looks! This is the Fab Ferry Tour Dress from Modcloth, worn with black Target tights, and black Call It Spring booties. (Oh, and the necklace is from the Throne of Glass collection, under Trilogie by Cadsawan Jewelry.)
The Books:
1. How to Love by Katie Cotugno | While it is Cotugno's sophomore novel that is my favorite from her, I really enjoyed her debut as well. It's not your typical love story, tracing the ebb and flow of Sawyer and Reena's relationship before/after things have changed. So well done, and I'd highly recommend giving this book a read!
2. Blue-Eyed Devil by Lisa Kleypas | I've certainly talked about this one before, on the blog and on Twitter. It's probably my favorite contemporary romance of all time, because I can never resist the gravity of Hardy Cates and Haven Travis' romance. I really love this book (and this entire series), and I would highly recommend it to readers craving romance.

3. All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr | I've had this book for a while now, acquiring it because (1) it kept catching my attention when I walked into Barnes & Noble and (2) Hannah recommended it. In fact, I'll leave you with a link to her review; see if you're not convinced you'd like to read this one as well.
