I'm back! I'm all relaxed too, fresh from my whirlwind trip to the Philippines to celebrate my grandmother's 80th birthday. And I'm also really happy because my baby sister Rachel is staying with us for a month! It's currently her mission to eat at as many dessert places as possible, and obviously, I fully support that plan. We've hit up a few so far (Levain Bakery, Milk Bar, Big Gay Ice Cream, Lady M, Il Laboratorio de Gelato), with plenty more set for future days out. Apart from that, I have to remark on the fact that I don't think I experienced jet lag this time around -- a true blessing! Now it's back to work, and back to regularly tinkering with this blog and working on writing. But here are some links of interest and a book haul!
