I'm baaaaack! It's time for another round-up of some fascinating links that I've discovered online, bookish and otherwise. And, of course, I'm sharing my book haul with you guys in the hopes that you'll discover something new that YOU will want to read.
WHAT I READ
- Amber talks about what makes a good story on Oh, the Books!
- Susan Dennard gives the most amazing writing advice, as always.
- Mary E. Pearson shares some of her favorite strong female heroines.
- Amanda talks about writing reviews in different non-traditional ways!
- Hazel gets really personal talking about books as one of her "Anchors".
- Nereyda reminds us it's okay to like books that other people might have hated.
- Jamie gives an overview of two YA subscription boxes - OwlCrate & Uppercase.
- Rebecca shares 24 things she's learned in honor of her 24th birthday and it's lovely.
- I really enjoyed seeing these graphics for literary homes. (Thanks for the email, Sneha!)
- Hannah started a new feature called Buy the Book - and it will make you want to shop!
- Julie Esbaugh talks about writing and how it can be a voice to your unvoiced thoughts.
- I do love a good coming-of-age tale, and I have to add these to my TBR! (Thanks Ksenia!)
- Jamie asks whether or not it's an author's job to address problematic things in their novels.
- I participated in the first YA Runs a 5K last year, and it was fun! Sign up for this year's 5K.

ReplyDeleteOff the page looks so cute. I have the first book (or is it more a companion? Not sure) and I can't wait to read it. The mime order is SO good. I liked The bone season, but this book made me fan of the series. I also love Days of blood and starlight & I can't wait to read An ember in the ashes. Enjoy :)!
ReplyDeleteYou got so many great books this week! I'm excited to pick up An Ember in the Ashes, The Start of Me and You, and Skandal. But I've heard great things about all of them.
ReplyDeleteALL THE LIGHT WE CANNOT SEEEEE!!! It went beyond a 2014 favorite to an all-time favorite and I've been pushing it like crazy ever since! Read it, love it, keep me updated!
ReplyDeleteLove seeing Smooth Talking Stranger on there! Jack!!! <3 <3 I'm so beyond stoked for Joe's story.
ReplyDeleteThis just reminds me that I still need to read Laini Taylor's series!
