As with all good things, the Love-a-Thon must finally come to an end. (Cue the tears!) It's been such a wonderful experience to be able to chat with all of you, share some fun posts and get to make a few new friends! Your posts have delighted me to no end, your enthusiasm has been stellar and I'm seriously overwhelmed with love and gratitude.
Let me leave you with one important thought: Love should be shared all year round. Yes, this Love-a-Thon is time we set aside specifically to celebrate the people we love in this crazy awesome blogging community, and that's always a wonderful thing. But it's important to remember to be kind, to be respectful and to be expressive of our love + gratitude + joy all the time. We should strive to keep the positive attitude the Love-a-Thon inspires going all year round!

Thank you so, so much for putting this event together, Alexa. This was my first Twitter chat and blogging/book event at all, and I met so many new bloggers who I now consider friends. I really enjoyed interacting with everyone, especially through the questions you put out during the chat. *claps* This really was an amazing experience and I greatly appreciate you putting this together <3
ReplyDeleteI loved meeting other bloggers and having the feeling of belonging in the community. :)
ReplyDeleteI loved this event so much! I loved meeting all of the new bloggers. The #LoveAThonRAK I experienced on top of all the greatness of the Loveathon was when one of the bloggers went out of their way to make me feel less shy. <3

I can't even imagine the amount of planning that had to go into making this event run so smoothly, but know that it was really appreciated!
ReplyDeleteMajor props to you for hosting this event! I had a lot of fun stepping outside the Wordpress world of book bloggers to leave more comments on those using other domains that I seldom visit. Everything was cool beans!

I had such a wonderful time this second time around doing the Loveathon! I sent an email to a fellow blogger who didn't participate, but who I appreciate so much and is such a lovely and kind person! It was just showing some RAK during these past two days!
ReplyDeleteAlthough it took me ages to spread the love to my favorite bloggers via Twitter, it was so much fun! I'm hoping to go through the Love-a-Thon participants this week and comment on more posts :)
ReplyDeleteI've gotten to know more people and connect with new blogger friends. I also loved feeling the love in the community!

ReplyDeleteThank you again for organizing this! It was such a good reminder to connect with REAL people and keep sharing the love all year round. Our community is such a special one on the internet, and provides a healthy contrast to all the ugly out there. I feel so happy about all the positivity.
ReplyDeleteOne of my #loveathonRAK experiences went out to a former camp counselor turned book blogger friend that inspires me to keep my blog honest and fun. I think she was happy to get a sweet note :)
Thank you for organising such a wonderfully positive event! Joining in the conversation is something I'm still really shy and anxious about, so your Twitter chat really helped me start to overcome that fear! Thank you again :-D
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for hosting this even, Alexa! All the positivity that was felt throughout the weekend was amazing. Discovering new blogs and sharing those blogs with other people was definitely one of my favorite things. I absolutely love this event!
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting this event. It was great! One of the participants was trying to send me an e-book, but it didn't end up processing correctly. It was going to be a copy of one of the books I mentioned in the loveathon kick-off post. I was absolutely blown away by the bloggers generosity!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sad I missed this! Definitely plan to participate next time. ;)
ReplyDeleteI loved all of the events, I especially loved getting to meet new bloggers and finding new blogs to visit.
ReplyDeleteWish I discovered this sooner so I could've participated! But I somehow witnessed it via Twitter and Hazel @ Stay Bookish and it's such a fantastic event. Book people are the best people, indeed. And the blogging community is a wonderful bunch. <3
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the giveaway! It is amazing.
ReplyDeleteThis was such a great event. For random acts of kindness, it was so nice to get shoutouts from other bloggers and see people's reactions to mine. I mostly posted some tweets to people and plan on keeping the love going this week with more comments.
ReplyDeleteI haven't managed to join in but I've loved reading all the posts and finding new blogs. I'll definitely try to participate next year!
ReplyDeleteShe doesn't know it yet but I bought one of my favorite bloggers (who's also become a friend) a birthday present! She should be getting it this week. ReplyDeleteMy fave #LoveathonRAK experience would be reaching out to all my friends, even if we hadn't been in contact for a while. It was the perfect opportunity to catch up!
I had a lot of fun! I met so many (new) bloggers that i can tell with be good friends!
ReplyDeleteI got many shout outs during the twitter chats. :)
I can't believe its over! Been one of the best weekends ever!
ReplyDeleteGiving shoutouts to fellow bloggers who have done things above and beyond and/or that I've just really connected with was a great experience of the Love a Thon for me. Taking the time to thank all the people who have made me feel so welcome and loved in this community was truly inspiring and brought a smile to my face.
ReplyDeleteThis was my first love-a-thon and I was so happy to participate. I discovered some great bloggers who I know I will want to follow forever, and I know I've found new friends. I really loved the Twitter chat on the first day because I was able to immediately connect with several bloggers who love the same things I do!
ReplyDeleteThis was my first love-a-thon, and I'm so happy I participated in it! I talked to people I've never "met" before, and I made some new friends. The chats were so much, and I loved getting to know others on their introduction posts. I'm going to keep commenting around on them throughout the week. I love spreading the love around. :)
ReplyDeleteNow that's a #LoveathonRAK! Very, cool!
ReplyDeleteHoly giveaway! That's pretty freakin' awesome! Thanks again for taking what I'm sure was a very long time to plan and execute such a fantastic event! I don't know that I've done any RAKs, but I plan to continue spreading the #loveathan love throughout the year. Just as you mentioned, it should be done all the time, not just at a specific, planned out time.
ReplyDeleteThank you again so much for hosting this event this year. It is so much fun getting to leave comment love and meeting new bloggers. I really enjoy the Twitter chats. And I feel like it is just easier to communicate with bloggers in general during this event.
ReplyDelete#LoveAThonRAK I loved getting the feeling that some of my favorite bloggers noticed my blog this year, some started following me on Twitter and some started following my blog and this has really brightened my day because now we will be chatting more which makes me so happy.
I try to leave comment love every week, but sometimes I get sidetracked or busy, but I think I am going to try and carve out one day a week where I just leave comments.
Thanks for the giveaway!
