Hello, friends! Can you believe the first month of 2015 is already over? Time really does fly when you're moving out... Ahem. I decided to revamp the monthly retrospective just the teensiest bit. You'll basically have all the same elements, just properly labeled into sections now. Let me know what you think! And now, the recap...
WHAT I DID
January was seriously a blur of cold, wet days, hanging out with friends at home and organizing all the stuff we've accumulated over the past few years. Moving out of our Bronx apartment and into a new one in Queens was definitely a big moment this month! We're settling into the new place quite nicely, and it's quickly becoming a home to Macky, Mel & I. Another highlight was seeing my best friend Patricia marry Ian, and being able to celebrate that special occasion at the Waldorf Astoria. And then, to top the month off, just when I thought winter was "over", we were treated to a snow day just this past week. Guess the weather is going to be unpredictable for a while...

I'm off to a bit of a slow start for Flights of Fantasy, having read only one fantasy (Red Queen) for the month of January! I wanted to read the entire Sevenwaters series, but had to wait for one of the books to arrive (which it did in the second to the last week of the month). Here's to hoping I read more fantasy in February! If you've done an update post for January, please feel free to link up below so Rachel and I can check them out.
