TGIF at GReads is a feature by the fabulous Ginger, who asks us a fun question to answer every week. It's always a joy to be a part of this, and I think everyone certainly should try it out!
Which books are at the top of your list to be read this year (new or old releases)?
I actually wrote a Top Ten Tuesday post on this one,
but I figure sharing a few more titles I'm excited about reading wouldn't hurt.

The Book Thief! The Giver! Many tears coming your way.
ReplyDeleteWell, I am positive I read this post a while ago. I'm sorry I am just now getting a chance to comment on it! Anyways, I think you must read picks are AWESOME! I still need to read quite a few of those myself. You need to read Going Too Far like RIGHT NOW! Jennifer Echols is one of my all-time favorite authors. In fact 3 of her books, Going Too Far, Forget You, and Endless Summer are all pretty much tied. They are just so freaking good!!!
ReplyDeleteI have The Book Thief and need to read it, too ... good luck with your 2012 reading! :)
ReplyDeleteHaven't heard of most of those books. I will have to check them out. Thanks for stopping by my blog.

-thank you&come again.
Some of those are on my Good reads reading list. looking forward to 'Perks of Being a Wallflower'. I read Ella enchanted when the film came out. and have to admit I preferred the film. the book just didn't grab me. I hope you enjoy it though.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog.
Nice ones!! Thanks for the headsup about Goddess Interrupted! Hadn't checked Netgalley in a few days! Put my request in!
ReplyDeleteThanks also for visiting my blog!
Perks of Being a Wallflower is one of my all time favourite books- enjoy! I'm also reading Book Thief this year so it's nice to think I'm not the only one who hasn't read it!
ReplyDelete"It's all just a matter of reading". That's the entire problem with trying to read so much every year. You seem to have been concise her, mentioning but 10, but just you and I both know how unrepresentative that number is. There are just too many books to be reading easily!
You must try Ella Enchanted! I read it about 10 years ago and it's been a longtime favorite--it's even better than the movie version, and wittier. :-)
ReplyDeleteYay, someone else who hasn't read The Book Thief, either! :) It seems like everybody else has, but it's on my list this week too.
ReplyDeleteI LOVED Under the Never Sky and the Book Thief is AMAZING! I hope you'll enjoy them as much as I did :) I really want to read Sweet Venom and Born Wicked as well! I feel a book buying urge coming on... Must resist...
ReplyDeleteI hope you love Under the Never Sky as much as I did. I hope to read the Perks of being a Wallflower also this year. Maybe for book ban week.
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy The Giver and The Book Thief as much as I did! I read them both this past year and loved them.

My must read list for 2012... Hmm...
ReplyDeleteBorn Wicked, Pandemonium, Of Poseidon, Across the Universe, Pride and Prejudice, Catching Jordan, Wanderlove... Oh my. So many! It's hard to list them all! I'm curious about The Book Thief. I've heard great stuff about it!
I plan to read Under the Never Sky and Born Wicked VERY soon. :) Great picks.
ReplyDeleteAwww, The Giver is so cute. Well, I guess not "cute," but good! I remember reading that in middle school and loving it. Great picks, Alexa!
